Teen icon Miley Cyrus was seen out and about in New York Monday afternoon (March 22) as she and her crew stopped off at Café Metro for a bite to eat. Miley was seen standing at the corner, contemplating over what she should get.

In other news, Miley will be hosting a live chat along with Liam Hemsworth, and Nicholas Sparks to promote their new film The Last Song. The singer/actress — who recently revealed she’s planning to quit the music industry to focus on making movies — says she’s keen to for her teen following to back her in her next move. “I think it’s sweet that they’re always supportive of the show, but my wish is they’ll support me whatever I do, and that’s what a true fan is,” said Miley, whose popular Disney show, Hannah Montana, comes to an end later this year.

“Whatever I’m doing, if the art that I’m making is making me happy, then respect my craft and respect the art that I’m making.” Miley says she can no longer relate to her Hannah Montana character — a pop music superstar living a double life as an ordinary schoolgirl. “It’s kind of a weird cycle,” she said. “I didn’t really relate to her because I didn’t know the famous life.
