Miley revealed her music playlist to Artist Direct: 1. Nirvana, 2. Radiohead. ‘I listen to a lot of Nirvana, and a lot of Radiohead, and that’s kind of what I was thinking my character Ronnie would listen to. We picked songs that we thought would go along well. The movie has such amazing songs and amazing artists in there. It’s great! This is really funny.

My brother is 15, and he’s in a Nirvana tribute band, and so every time I go to one of their shows, he always makes me sing ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ with him. Always, it never fails! I’m like, ‘Please don’t make me do this today!’ [Laughs] I’ll always get up and sing with them, so it’s really fun.’
