We know Miley Cyrus can’t be tamed, but now she can’t be stopped!
The singer who is set to premiere her latest single “We Can’t Stop” on June 3rd on On Air with Ryan Seacrest has revealed to us it’s a whole new sound for her. In fact, the singer tells us, “it’s a new Miley.”
Describing the soon-to-be-hit track as “more funky and R&B, pop” sounding than her earlier records. Adding, “it’s hard to describe in a good way. [It’s] infectious.”
The singer, who has been in the studio for the last year cooking up a brand new sound that’s all her own, assures us: “People will be surprised and excited.” And if the album cover art reveals anything, we’re sure it’ll also be a party!
Be sure to tune in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to hear the track and all things Miley on June 3rd!
After taking the top spot on the Maxim 2013 Hot 100 List, it was no surprise that Miley Cyrus would stun at the party to celebrate the list. Showing off a cute bow on the back of a Valentino jumpsuit, paired with Saint Laurent heels, Miley attended the Maxim Hot 100 Party at Vanguard last night (15th May), in Hollywood.
May 7 in New York City, one of the biggest events in fashion and one of the biggest parties of the year took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The 2013 Met Gala celebrated the “Punk: Chaos to Couture” exhibition – and Miley was one of the celebrities who attended!
Breaking the news via her Twitter account, Miley shared with us late on Friday night that she landed #1 on Maxim’s 2013 Hot 100 List! She shared a beautiful photo on her page, wearing a gold bathing suit and gold jewellery to match, tweeting:
@MileyCyrus: Didn’t know this was coming out yet! I’m so happy to be #1 on Maxims HOT 100! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue

re you paying attention, Simon Cowell? Miley Cyrus – our blonde-Mohawked June cover girl – knows exactly how to spot that all-elusive X factor.
‘A star is someone who doesn’t have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power,’ she told ELLE writer Janice Turner. ‘Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that’s not just showing your tits. I don’t want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it’s all about their clothes – or lack of clothes.’
So for us, meeting Miley was very much to do having her bring her own persona to some of the season’s most iconic pieces – those by the likes of Saint Laurent, Fendi, Emilio Pucci and Simone Rocha. She rocks 10 pages of them – shot by Jan Welters – in our new issue, out 1 May.
You can read the unmissable interview in full (and yes, she talks about Liam) then, but in the meantime, for all those fans who are about ready to burst from waiting, here’s your exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our Miley shoot. Enjoy.
