Getting in some sisterly bonding time, Miley Cyrus was spotted doing some retail therapy with her older sister Brandi yesterday (May 19) in Studio City, California. The “Hannah Montana” hottie looked to be enjoying herself as she made an exit from the Royal Dutchess store, carrying a bag full of finds.

In related news, it looks like Miley could very well be joining Chace Crawford in the much-anticipated remake of the 1980s hit film “Footloose.”

A source close to Cyrus told press, “They’ve (producers) expressed interest in Miley for the part.” And an insider at the studio has confirmed that Cyrus “is definitely in the mix.”

Miley Cyrus is being considered for the leading femal role in the remake of Footloose, according to E! News.  A source revealed:  ‘They’ve expressed interest in Miley for the part. She is definitely in the mix.’ The ‘mix’ currently includes Hayden Panettiere, Amanda Bynes and Julianne Hough, all of whom have auditioned for the part of Ariel Moore, the independent-minded daughter of a preacher man, originated in the 1984 classic by Lori Singer. Miley hasn’t auditioned yet because her singing & dancing ability and international mega star status has already been proven.
