Teen queen Miley Cyrus is constantly spotted stepping out in Los Angeles sporting short shorts, or attending events in short dresses, and it looks as though her father Billy Ray Cyrus wants to put an end to her fashion choices. Miley’s father is concerned that Miley is showing too much skin and is trying to make her wear longer items of clothing. “Billy Ray told Miley that from now on, he only wants her to wear shorts that are eight inches above the knee or longer,” said a source, “He insists he’s serious about this.”

At first Miley thought it was just a joke, but Billy Ray is strict with his decision. Miley is even said to have begged her mother Tish to speak to Billy Ray, with no luck. The source revealed that Billy Ray fears Miley is growing up too fast and needs to dress more like a teenager.

Soon, Miley will be out of her parents’ house, as she moves into her very own Hollywood home in just a couple of months.
