Billy Ray Cyrus has asked for joint custody of his Miley, Noah & Braison, after his divorce from wife of 17 years, Tish Cyrus. In legal documents he stated that wants to share parental responsibilities, ‘share the care, custody and control’ of them. The documents also state he ‘has no information of any custody

proceedings’ and the reasons behind the marriage’s breakdown were listed as ‘irreconcilable differences’. Billy Ray married Tish in December 1992. They have three children together he adopted Tish’s two children, Brandi and Trace, from her previous marriage. He also has a son, Christopher, from his relationship with Kristen Luckey.

Miley Cyrus was so devastated finding out about Billy Ray and Tish’ divorce that she got back together with ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth for support and ‘normalcy.’ A family insider told Hollywood Life:

‘Miley knew about the divorce awhile ago and she’s been taking it really hard. Pretty much at the same time, she broke up with Liam, Hannah Montana was ending and then her parents’ marriage was falling apart.

She got super stressed out and that’s really when she started acting out more. She got back together with Liam because she wanted some normalcy and structure. Plus, her parents really like him too and so she’s trying to make it work. She’s just doing the best she can.’

Miley Cyrus’ parents, Billy Ray & Tish, are divorcing after 17 years of marriage. They told People: ‘As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family.
