In a world connected by YouTube, iTunes and Facebook, Lola and her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents. When Lola’s mom, Anne, accidentally reads her teenage daughter’s racy journal, she realizes just how wide their communication gap has grown. As a new year at school begins, Lola’s heart is broken by her boyfriend, though soon she’s surprised by her best friend, promising musician Kyle, who reveals his feelings for her. Through hilarious and heartfelt moments between mother and daughter, LOL is a fresh coming-of-age story for modern times.
After nearly two years of waiting, LOL is finally here. The movie hits 100 theaters in the Houston, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Nashville, and Cleveland areas tomorrow (4th May) – and it may be expanding to a wider market in the second week!
The movie stars Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore, Douglas Booth, Ashley Greene and more. The film has already been a trending topic on Twitter more than once over the past couple of weeks! You can check out the official site for the movie here.
The film has a limited release in the US – only showing in 7 states and in just over 100 theaters – so we need a lot of people to see the movie when it’s released. If more people go to see it, Lionsgate might expand it into more theaters – which is already a possibility so we need all of you fans in those areas to go and see the movie! Take as many friends as you can, go and see it more than once, spread the word to other people who haven’t seen it. The movie is going to be amazing and I think everyone should be able to see it!

oh wow this shit’s cray.
They filmed this movie at my high school and i was very disappointed to see that it was showing in NO theatres anywhere close to Michigan. If they released it into a theatre near Grosse Pointe i’m sure a lot of people would go see it, if only to see their high school in a movie.
Were the moive at I go see the moive????
this movie is very good, i really liked it.. But i think disney should have produced it-Not lionsgate..& the timing is wrong..(same week avengers is out in theaters-common?:( )
LOL I heard this tanked at the box office. (:
Looks like fun! Wish there was a big flea market around me:( Thanks for the advice on painting my armoire.
