Miley Cyrus turns 21 this weekend, on Saturday 23 November. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILEY!

It’s hard to believe the twerking megastar is only just turning the legal drinking age in the USA, but that’s showbiz for you.

In honour of her landmark brithday, we’ve decided to celebrate all the things she’s done that we sadly (or in some cases, thankfully) never will…

1. Become a Disney princess
   C’mon, lets face it. We all dreamed of being a Disney princess at one point or another. Miley actually did it. So there.
2. Have our own TV show
   She also had her very own TV show, of which she was the star. So there… again.
3. Have our own Barbie
   Who doesn’t want a doll made in their own image? Alright, so it’s kind of creepy, but still…
4. Have dinner with Dolly Parton
   Country legend Dolly Parton is Miley Cyrus’ godmother. There is no doubt in our minds that Dolly Parton is the best godmother ever.
5. Snog a Jonas brother
   Remember your first kiss? What if he’d been a famous pop star. Yeah, Miley wins this one – she even got the best Jonas (Nick, in case you were wondering).
6. Star in our own movie
   Because once you’ve got your own TV show, Barbie doll and a famous first boyfriend, what else is there to do?
7. Star in other movies
   OK, so none of Miley’s movies have been critically acclaimed, but she’s made a bunch of them. And she’s only 21.
8. Perform for the Queen
   We doubt Liz remembers it, but this must’ve been a momentous occasion for Miley.
9. Host Saturday Night Live
   Appearing on SNL is a right of passage for every American star – and her episodes even got decent reviews.
10. Date Liam Hemsworth
    As if bagging a Jonas wasn’t enough, Miley upgraded to a Hemsworth. Jealous, us? Nooooo. (Totally.)
11. Pose topless for Vanity Fair
    Miley’s first foray into controversy came in 2009 when she was photographed for Vanity Fair by Annie Liebovitz. Some were shocked, and some were impressed.
12. Win loads of awards
    Miley’s hard work over the years has paid off, and she’s been praised for it with a bunch of trophies and such. Reckon she’d send us one if we asked nicely?
13. Make the cover of Rolling Stone
    We’ll admit, we’ve always wanted to be on the cover of a magazine. And Rolling Stone is the coolest cover there is.
14. Tattoo our feet
    Erm… you know what? On second thoughts, we’re not sure we’re envious of this one. It looks painful. Still, you’ve got to admire her for it… don’t you?
15. Make our own tongue famous
    Not content with having a famous family, Miley decided her own tongue needed to become a celebrity in its own right. We wonder if she’s had it insured?
16. Duet with Britney Spears
    We’ve all sung and danced along with Britney – Miley gets to do it in real life. Ok… we’re jealous again.
17. Cause global controversy
    Some celebs might’ve regretted the reason they were being talked about after that VMAs performance. Not Miley – she was trending and proud.
18. Smoke a naughty cigarette on stage
    We get that she was making a point, but to be honest, we just wouldn’t have wanted our mum to see this. By the time she’s 25, Miley will have learned that it’s OK for some things to be private.
19. Swing about naked on a wrecking ball
    It would never, ever, ever occur to us to do this. In any world. And we’re perfectly happy with that.
20. Publicly feud with other celebrities
    Again, it’s time to make that point about some things being private. This comeback at Sinead O’Connor wasn’t cool. But then, Miley’s only young.
21. Become a bestselling pop star
    Say what you like about Miley’s music, but it sells. Lots. Lots and lots and lots.
