While nothing is set in stone just yet, Disney is currently in negotiation with author Aprilynne Pike to turn her novel, “Wings”, into a feature film starring Miley Cyrus.  Miley would play 15-year-old Laurel, a small town girl who just moved with her hippie parents from her rural home to a large California town. But when Laurel suddenly sprouts wings, she must head back to her home town armed only with her new friend, David, and a secret from when she was very young.“Wings” is a great coming of age tale, and a definite must read for all young adults. Aprilynne Pike is a very talented writer and will keep you interested until the very last word. I can’t wait to see Disney put this on the big screen.
